Can't view WWDC Stream - QT Player Freezes

can't view that darned stream. I can view it on other 10.2.6 macs around the office, just not on my Tibook. Here's what I've tried:



Fresh copy of quicktime player (deleted and copied from another machine that CAN view the stream).



Deleted all quicktime related prefs from /user/library/preferences



Downloaded and Re-installed Quicktime 6.3 from Apple (tho I can't be sure the installer over-wrote the files that were there, or just left them alone because their version # was the same).



Any know anything else I could try to sort this out?

    Have you got any DivX codecs in /Library/Quicktime ?



    if so remove them and try again

    ahahahhaheheahe sad but true, that fixed it.



    Didn't occur to me a codec that never worked in the first place and shouldn't be involved in streaming quicktime anyway would interfere, but it did. Can't Apple and Divx just get along?
