Maya Unlimited for Mac-- when do you suspect?

With the G5 out, Renderman on the verge of a version for OS X, and the Powermac finally recongnized as a wordkstation, it seems like Alias|Wavefront might soon have an OS X native version of Maya Unlimited, their flagship app. 45% of Maya complete users use Macs, so how could any company resist expanding their user base by another 45%?

Just my thoughts.

If A|w doesn't commit to Maya Unlimited for Mac OS X after RenderMan and pro-level OpenGL cards (QuadroFX/FireGL) come out for Mac OS X, then we have a problem...

I would say definately by Siggraph 2004...

What freacxking Cards are you talking about, did I miss an announcement or something?

I didn't know I could get QuadroFX.. Who is selling Mac versions of them?

Anyway. I would say that We should be watching Siggraph this year. Every Person that has purchased Maya that I know of (Including My Self) Has requested Maya Unlimited from Alias.
