Boston scored 14 runs in the first inning alone!



One of the Marlins relief pitchers got drilled in the back of the head...no update on his condition, but you could see him blinking and moving his legs while being attended.



Edit: Now they say his injury is relatively minor...he must have a steel cranium.

    The big news, the Red Sox scored 10 runs before the Marlins got an out. That's a major league record.



    I was watching the game when it was going on. I couldn't believe it. The first 11 batters all reached base.

    yeah I was at the yankee game and the guy behind me was listening to the updates on the game... crazy

    it was 19-1 in the 5th



    anyone have that 1st inning tivoed?

    or the pitcher getting beaned?
