sorry, it has always been teh default start page on my macs and on every mac ive used so I assumed people knew what I was talking about
I also use bookmarks as my start page. Nice feature in Safari. But this is a much nicer page, much less clutter, much more (apparent) content, at least in regards to the Apple headlines. But the gradient at the header looks funny somehow.
I used to refuse to use a startup page [always have it blank], but that apple start page [via netscape] is actually not so bad [content wise].
Interesting new articles everyday [sometimes multiple changes in a day].
Anywho, the new design is better than the previous. The previous was ugly. The pages that the front page sends you to are still using the old design though.
