Trackpad preferences don't work

I recently updated my logitech mouse software and it works fine. However I've discovered that the trackpad prefences don't work now. Such as: Ignore trackpad while typing and disable trackpad if mouse present. My palms brush up against the pad while typing causing the cursor to run wild. I'm updated to 10.2.6. Help

    You're screwed now.

BTW, does your mouse have like 19 buttons? Why do you need 'mouse software'? Doesn't it work out of the box?

19? yeah right are you crazy...his mouse has 43 buttons a scroll wheel, track pad, and cup holder that either warms or keeps ur drink cool while displaying the time and taking digital pictures to put on business cards WHICH you can print out on that monster!

oh yeah the original question asked...sorry i don't know the answer but why are you using mouse software?

KFG: Try uninstalling the software, and just using OSX'x built-in drivers.
