Wishlist for OS X Terminal program
Two things that I *really* wish the Terminal app in OS X did:
1) handle ANSI color without noticeable slowdown of window refreshes. On screens full of ANSI-colored text (e.g., my mutt mailbox), scrolling and refreshes are noticably delayed. Particularly with certain colors, e.g., bright blue.
2) Intelligently recognize and hotlink URIs displayed on the screen, in much the same way TeraTerm does in Windows. It's an extremely useful feature, and one that I think would go over quite well.

At least you HAVE color.
ls --color=auto does nothing on this box. I only get color if I ssh into my linux box...
