Kernel panics when connecting to windows
Hi,
I've allready got 3 Kernel-panics in the last two days when I was trying to connect to my WinXP pro box.
The last one appeared when I tried to connect to the same machine twice at the same time (on different workgroups).
I've got some problems with the XP box, so I could only connect one time without problems to this PC (this was after a complete reinstall of windows).
I think that my problems on this network are because of this XP box (I can connect to win2000 with only a few problems). But my mac shouldn't be affected directly if there are problems with the XP machine, should it?
Could there be any problem with MacOS X (10.2.6) that causes this problems, or is it just this XP pro computer?
Another question: Can anyone tell me what's the best way to connect a XP pro, a Win2000-machine and my powerbook. They are all connected to the same HUB (no router) (use self assigning or static IP...)?
thank you
