ok thanks i was just wondering
by the way, i LOVE how with internet sharing on that my computer is easier to use then my hub (or maybe its my modems fault but when i want to switch which two out of 3 computers have the internet its an annoying long process)
is there ANY way to connect a B&W G3 with firewire so that the G3 can access the firewire without using target mode?
im going to go check out firenet i know that was mentioned before but i dont know if it still gets updated

Maybe I am misunderstanding...you don't use your hub and so only connect 2 out of 3 computers to the internet at a time? Why not throw the hub into the mix and have all 3 online at once?

setup is liek this
cablemodem
5 port hub
G4 G3
PC
the reason i do this is because its a hub not a router and my ISP only allows two internet connections (IPs) at a time, so i have to do that
