I have got through 7 17inch powerbooks in a month.



Each one I bought had dead pxiels - It was changed everytime but after 7 models and a month of hassle in changing machine all the time.



I am amazed that I managed to get 7 models of the 17inch powebook with dead pixels. Each time I thought "No way can the 5th one have dead pixels"....etc etc



I just thought I would share this with you as it just goes to show how Apple spend too long in the "looks" department and not enough time in the monitors/screens department.



7 in a row! - Thats gotta be a record surely!!

    No No NO! - I only mention that some know me as kittylitter as I had to rejoin site under a new alias



    The above 7 powerbooks situation is 100% totally true and I think it is astonishing how bad these 17 inchs machines are made. 7 in a row all with defects !!!

    Perhaps Apple hates you and is sending you the same Mac each time?



    I find that more likely.



    How are you sending it back to Apple? Maybe you forgot to put on some stamps?
