    thanks Paul

I know that it should but it dosen't. I have a printer hooked up to the same pci card and it works fine. The Mac will not see the USB mouse. I even installed the logitech driver and it said that it couldn't see the mouse. Any probably troubleshooting suggestions..

Thats odd. I have a USB card in my old Beige G3 and I have had tons of optical mice hooked up to it. I have a wireless logitech on it now and I havent even installed any drivers. I dunno I never really use that machine. I dunno what to tell ya.

I have a Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical and it works just fine with my Rev. A beige G3 desktop.

Dues the light on the mouse turn on?

No the light doesn't come on. It is ADS card i bought about 2 years ago. I'm running 10.2.6. i also have a rage orion card in it. The light doesn't come on and the system profiler doesn't seem to see it either. it see the card in the slot but it doesn't show any USB port available. the epson printer i have connected to it still work.

I just went to ADS website and the have an outdated like to apple for OS 9.1 but nothing for OS X. I'm thinking OS X should just see it and not need a driver.

P.S. thanks for your help i really appreciate it.

I also have a Beige with a Logitech mouse. Works semi-fine for me. (I have to unplug and plug it in again every time I boot up. No biggie.) If the laser does not come on, I found the problem to be a temporarly dead USB port. I had this happen happen 2 times on my PC and 4 on my Mac. I usually solve it by changing to another USB port or restarting.

Are you sure the mouse is OK? Sometimes the answer is right in front of you.

It could be a bad cord or have you tried switching the printer with mouse?
