I've come across this thrilling piece of technology, AnuwhereUSB, which makes your USB devices accessible from across your wireless LAN. Watch EyeTV on your 'book or connect a Palm USB cradle remotely! OK - you get the picture...

Now, I've asked Ionetworks to come out with a OS X version but they seem a bit unsure, or at least need more info. They responed to me twice though. Always a good sign.

Hi Richard,

Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

If I had to push a Mac OS X version I must know something about quantity estimations in a time frame of approx. 2 years ?

Is this the only OS you are using ?

Best regards

With Panther, you'll be able to share your digital camera.

You can already share your printer.

but I agree that general USB Sharing system would be great.

It seems to me that this would be the next evolvement of Airport Extreme. In line with the 'year of the notebook' and Apple's current strategy of innovation...
