IE won't launch

I found a similar thread on spymac, and on the the apple support page, but no real solution . . . appearently other people are experiencing similar problems . . . My IE won't launch. I don't recall downloading anything new or installing any new software. I've seen a solution posted that worked for some but not others. Maybe there is already a thread about this. I usually use safari, but my online bank web site does not respond well using safari, so for rare instances I use IE. Any ideas or help

    you could try redownloading/reinstalling ie. also, it might be of some help if you show us the crash log. its in ~/Library/CrashLog ("~" means your home folder). Should be named something like "InternetExplorer.crash.log" or similar.

    Or you may just be screwed. I have a similar problem with Sherlock. Never worked, in 10.2.4-10.3. Launches, then immediately crashes. Deleted my prefs, no dice.
