Safari Font Sizes

Does anybody else have the problem where some sites text just looks too big?

I'll use cmd + or cmd - to set the text nice for one site, then it will be huge on another, or so small the letters distort.

I have changed my safari prefs standard and fixed with font (note the size in this preferences DOES make a difference regardless of the stylesheet setting???)

Its almost like there is a massive jump from size 10 text, to size 12 text.

It may be that you've chosen a particularly big or small font in preferences. This could then then be contrasting with sites that overrule your settings with their own.

Note that the actual font may be big or small for it's point size (e.g. Verdana is quite big).

If you have poor eyesight then you may want to define your own stylesheet, using the !important directive to overrule the web designers choices.
