Nisus Writer Express / Excel Replacement or Database Software

Hello everyone.



I just found Nisus Write Express over here.

I think it looks very fine and would replace Word excellently.



So, the only other thing i need for a "Mac without Microsoft" is a good Excel replacement or database programm.

OpenOffice isn't working for me - don't know why, but i hate it. I also tried FileMaker but i think it's to difficult to handle. I've never done any database stuff before.

Excel was/is just fine. It's easy to use and it fits all my needs for organizing.



Do you know such a programm?

What about iOffice? (haha )

    It depends on what exactly you do with Excel. I would say Nisus Writer Express is to Word as Mesa is to Excel. NWE and Mesa are both Cocoa based and really beautiful and easy to use. However neither has anything like the feature list of its M$ counterpart.
