Just took a look at your link and even though I think anything but real votes on paper in a system where everything can be checked through every link can raise question about the process I really don´t think that story has much meat on it.
But more seriously (at least here) you should go read the posting guidelines. Just posting a link and a heading is not the way to start a good thread here. What do YOU think of what the article suggests? Do you agree/disagree with the conclutions and why?
This is probably the easiest part of this puzzle to get your head around. The motivation of the Republican Party in general and the current administration in particular to gain ever greater amounts of power - by whatever means possible and damn the consequences - is evidenced most recently in the Supreme Court's partisan appointment of George Bush Jr. as President, the attempt to recall California Governor Gray Davis, and the Ken Starr investigation and attempted impeachment of President Clinton.
Let's not do this topic today, OK? Of course, we could always stage a blow for blow knock down argument for everyone's entertainment. Hell, we could make it a fundraiser.

Seriously...have a good one.
You to!
But if you continue to post about it with this attitude I will also.
I apologize for upsetting the normal flow of posting. Sometimes I like to have a clean slate as it were to let people form their own opinions before they are influenced by my own observations.
This article absolutely has "meat" to it. I think it is important for people to be aware of the content of the article. Its authors have said what needs to be said far better than I could in a few sentences. Of course, getting the message requires reading the article.
The electoral process is compromised. It is as wide open to tampering as the average PC. The article (look past the first few paragraphs guys) cites evidence that factions of the Republican party styles itself as a 1337 hacker.
Whether the vulnerability has already been exploited or not is irrelevant. This is a huge problem! Major history book stuff. The hole (the complete lack of transparency, oversight, accountability and proof of correct results that is happening with voting machines) must be patched. (Who controls Diebold again? Hmm.)
I dearly hope the mainstream media picks this up and runs with it. Corruption cannot stand the light of Investigation. (of course... you should read the related article on 'who controls the media?')
It is simple to pick on "Republican versus Democrat" issues. However that battle is irrelevant as well. (You missed the part of the article where they spell this point out?)
: a voter's race is listed next to his or her name in many Southern states including Florida because racial ID is required by the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

We can go at it here if you want.
With a guy like that on the loose it doesn't last for long.

If it is a joke, it REALLY isn't funny.
