Abuse for Mac OS X...

Remember when Marathon included the Abuse demo?

Grab the full OS X version:

http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~ejones/.../Abuse.dmg.bz2

I didn't like the way OpenGL was scaling/antialiasing the graphics, so I edited the

~/Library/Application Support/Abuse/abuserc

file

; Use anti-aliasing (with gl=1 only)

antialias=0

To run in a window...

; Startup fullscreen

fullscreen=0

To access the level editor-

In Terminal, type:

/path/to/Abuse.app/Contents/MacOS/Abuse -edit

    You sure it's legal to be posting that? Isn't Abuse still supported by Bungie?

    seems to have some... issues. Games freezes whenever a message comes up and only pressing apce seems to get it going again. No cool computer voice in the background like the original :-(. What happened to preferences? can't seem to set graphics or keyboard options. Antialiasing? What antialiasing? Maybe it's cos I only have a rage 128 but it's blocky for me. And am I imagining it, or was this ported from the PC version rather than the OS 9 build?

    You need a right mouse button to engage special abilities, which I don't have. The OS 9 version is worth having to start up Classic for, and it's faster too. I'll stick to that.
