Gaming pad / joystick advice

Anyone have any recommendations on a control pad for gaming?

Ideally it should be reasonably priced and work well with OS X.

I'm not big into gaming on Mac (PS2 covers most of my needs) but would like something I can use for all the demos on magazine CDs.

    If all you are interested in, the keyboard and mouse are probably enough.

    I'm seriously considering this, since I've never found a computer gamepad/joystick that would calibrate worth a darn.

    Think I'll go for the PS-USB adaptor as I have a few PSONE game pads lying around.
