PDF files in Classic using Quark

To all Genii out there, my company is having a major problem printing pdf files using distiller and Quark for OS9. We are supposed to get the 6.0 upgrade soon which should solve some of the problems, but for now we need to do it in 9.



Here is the error:



%%[ Error: ioerror; OffendingCommand: showpage ]%%



We can't export eps pages and then save them out through Illustrator because the files are manual files.



Any ideas???

is this happening on multiple machines, or just one?



what version of distiller are you using?



what do you mean by manual files?



what are the steps you are using to create the pdf? there are multiple ways of doing it and sometimes one will work on a particular mac, but won't on another.
