iTunes bug...

For three different CDs now I have ripped entire albums from CD into m4a format (160kbps). When it comes to ripping the last two tracks, it slows down to 0.9x ripping(!!!) and when I play them it has a weird blip sound in, as if the song is being turned on and off very quickly with interference....

Any ideas what it could be? My geuss it is iTunes, but is there any way to sort it out?...

Are these original or copy cd's ? have you used the "black pen" trick to get past sony's copy protection ? I did this with my best of deacon blue album and the ripping slows down at the end, but it seems ok during playback.

They're all original CDs, but they're also not connected to Sony... So I don't think there's a problem with the copy protection.

Sony isn't the only company w/copy protection on their CD's. that's most likely the problem.

Yes, but copy protection, even on the Total Annihilation games cd? I don't understand how it can only effect the two songs at the end, either...
