When I create a 'guide' it doesn't snap to center of documents...it does at work, and i think it should...so can anyone tell me why it isn't...its REALLY annoying

    there should be a preference setting for "snap to guides" or snap distance



    but if you're talking about guides you pull down from the rulers, i don't think they're meant to snap

    they stick where you drag and drop them



    it's late... i'll fire it up and confirm tomorrow

    to my knowledge...least does this at work but i like it, the guids 'snap' when tthey get to the center of a document

    I know this might not be exactly what you are looking for but it works nonetheless. If you hold down shift while you are dragging it will snap to the tick marks in your rulers.

    Ok I figured it out. It snaps when the background is white, or just filled, but transparent it doesn't and that is what I always use.
