Problems with File Sequences

Has anybody had the problem of file sequences (such as a couple hundred targa files) hanging the finder? When I group select a bunch of files and try to drag them to the trash, the finder hangs for around a minute or sometimes even two minutes-nothing but the spinning beach ball. Will this be fixed with Panther? Thanks.

    The finder has been known to have issues dealing with large numbers of files at once. I don't know why, but I would expect it to be fixed (just because it was pretty common).
