Education Purchasing for a College Kid

I'm curious how it works for anyone who has done it. Do they ask for your information AFTER the order or do I need to send it in before it?



I heard they ask for a schedule and a Student ID? Is this correct?

    if u do it at a store, you show them a college id before they ring it all up. i dont know about online.

    You gotta have your college student id and a printout of your current tuition billing statement or whatever.

    You don't need anything if you buy online. I bought a Powerbook and an iPod last year with an Education discount from the Apple Store online and didn't have to provide any proof that I was a college student.

    i suspect they check with your school if you buy it online. i got mine becasue my wife if a student. they didn't ask for anything. that's why i think they check with your school somehow
