Actually the one I'm interested in is either the Latest FinePix S7000, with 6.3 MegaPix (probably also the most expensive one) or Alternatively the FinePix S2 Pro which is almost identical to the S7000 but doesn't have a lens of it's own. The attraction for me specifically is that I can use all of my "conventional" SLR Nikkor lenses which can mount on the S2 Pro. With my lenses I can do almost anything from very long telephoto to Macro, slide copying and cropping, you name it.

Have you tried asking the sales people in the store? or the Manager?
What's their answer?
I'm also interested in one, namely the FinePix S2 which is just a body on which I can fit my SLR Nikkor lenses
