okay, (edit: okay, probably no one cares about this, but...) go to Staples.com. i mean, apparently every old bookmark of mine is gone, cached pages, history to deep pages. all pretty much *poof!*
hmmm... it'll probably be back up sooner or later. i just found it odd for such a huge ecommerce site.
