Linksys Print Server

I am looking for tested solution for getting a linksys print server to work with OS X.



I have tried many option but its a pain. *The print server is in one house and the mac is next door. So every attemp i have to walk next door and check for results*



As many of us know linksys says that their printserver can work with mac's. (pre OS X) But the companies comes right out saying that it is unsupported and dont try to call them. There are some files that come on the disk but have no documentation as far as how to implement.



Any suggestions or solutions are greatly appreciated.

    By print server do you mean wireless router w/ print server capabilities?

    no their stand alone print server. mine is thier 2port print server/switch.

    I'm not sure wherein the problem lies but obviously one would put the print server's IP address as the printer address in printing prefs. The 'type' of printer should be set to lpd (unix line printer). Fire up Printer Setup Utility, click the 'add printer' icon, enter the above info, and you should be good to go(?)
