buying a 17in G4 PowerBook...

hi everyone,



time for me to join the apple family!! yeah~~

i am a graphic designer. i use pc (cuz cheaper) at home, use Dual G4 tower at work. i am going to buy myself a 17"in G4 PowerBook. i did search on the net, the cheapest is $2986. but i saw someone on ebay selling the same thing exactly the same G4 PowerBook for [buy it now] $1800. i am wondering these people are selling real stuffs or not? if i can get it for $1800, i save myself lots of cash to get a ipod and other stuffs too.. plz give some advice for me..

    If it seems too good to be true it is.



    I would spend the extra cash and get it at an AppleStore. If you have to pay shipping you might as well.

    I just noticed today that when you go to the Apple Fed Employee Store and select the 17 pb you will see an additional $150 discount applied.
