I have a G4 tower and a PC which I would like to set up to have one monitor, keyboard, and mouse for both. Wondering if anyone else has this sort of set up and what you may be using monitor wise concerning DVI, ADC, VGA and what KVMP switch you may have used.

Really just trying to get a nice 17-18" monitor for the two and save some space on my desk

Thanks!

At work, we have a rig just like that set up. We have our dual G4 and our Dual XEON all hooked up to our KVM box. All of it being displayed on 23" Cinema display.

The KVM box we have is the DVI to ADC KVM Controller from Compucable. It has worked flawlessly and we have used it for while now with no problems. It isn't too expensive.

Here is a link to it...

That is meant to be used if you are using a ADC based monitor but they also have KVMs for DVI monitors. Hope it all works out.
