One dead pixel is nothing to worry about. Apple Care won't touch it anyway... they will only replace an ASD with 5 to 6 or more dead pixels. One is not that bad. You could bitch and bitch until Apple Care will replace it but the replacement will have a good chance of having more than one dead pixel.
If it's teal (not black) it's stuck, not dead. You can try gently massaging it with a soft cloth to see if it will become unstuck. I've seen that work. I've also seen stuck pixels become unstuck over time on their own.
