OSX Application Stall - Help!
An annoying bug has appeared with my iMac running 10.2.6. The problem is sporadic and can happen often and sometimes rarely.
Launching any application can sometimes cause the app to stall and just bounce in the dock endlessly for a good 20 to 30 bounces or so.
Then after a while the app remembers what it was doing and finally launches. Sometimes the same app when relaunched will open immediately after 1 or 2 bounces.
Sometimes it can be quicker to Force Quit the app and launch again from the Dock.
Tried prebinding and optimising and all kinds of stuff but the problem still persists. I'm nearly out of options except wiping the drive and starting again if i cannot remedy the problem.
I really don't want to do this, but It's really giving me the s**ts!
