The parallels of Macs and women

Posted:
in General Discussion edited January 2014
I've begun to realize my problem with women. I can never seem to be satisfied with what I have and am constantly looking for something better. That's really not as bad as it sounds. Why should one settle?

However, I wonder if it has anything to do with my penchant for wanting the best Mac as well. Never satified with what's on my desk...always looking to upgrade to the latest and greatest.

Anyone else get my drift? \

I am still in love with my olde mac LC 475.

She has a pretty little face that lights up when I press her little button..

She never complains about my finger work and she even lets me play games with her..

Sometimes she wishes she was faster and more attractive, ( 25mhtz ) but she's constant & loyal and never misses a beat..

She is my old gal...built for comfort as they say.....& I wouldn't trade her in any more than I'd think of selling my Mom.

Same here, I kept my old Macs around, but hey you can have lots of sexy little toys to play on the side too, like iPod, iSight......... Right?

Sounds like you got a keeper there Aquafire.

I, on the other hand have had nothing but a revolving door. First it was that LC, then the FX, CI, Quadra 700, etc...one reason or another, I had to get rid of them.

Now it's my 15" FP iMac. She's still very sexy but she could have a larger "screen". The top part is slim and narrow but her bottom is wider than I remember. She's not as quick as when I first met her and her memory is rather limiting.

I can't help but keep glancing over my shoulder for the latest and greatest. Not just eye candy, but a robust soul...one that might make her a keeper.

    Where can I find help?
