for Christmas i got a 22" display...

Am I understanding correctly that it is worth one thousand dollars less after only one month?? That it is already obolete. I feel sick. I was too embaressed to tell my boyfriend who got it for me. I think Apple should do something this is bad business. Can someone tell me we weren't ripped off that the quality of parts is better, something? Please.

    I like to treat girls nice too but 2500 bucks is just a tad out of my range.

    It IS a super high resolutions 22" FLAT AND THIN DESKTOP COMPUTER DISPLAY.

    First of all, the 22" monitor you have is larger than the 20" monitor that is now selling. It is also one beautiful monitor -- how in the world is it obsolete? Did it stop working?



    I have a 22" Apple Cinema Display at work, and I imagine I'll be using it for years and years to come -- it is a lovely, lovely display.

    This is the story of the computer world.



    Something that is 'top of the line' one week is yesterday's news the next.



    We have a thread going about this subject already in General Discussion called "Open letter to Apple" where people have already put their 2 cents in.



    I'd sure like to have a 22" Cinema Display but I'm not that lucky (or rich).
