SEAGATE or WD HDD

For basically the same price can get a seagate120Gb or Western Digital Drive 120Gb ( 8Mb cache)
Any one had any bad experiences with either of these?

the 8mb cache is appealing as it apparently makes a big difference to the speed

Are they both the same type of drive? Like ATA IV?
If there is a difference, then it may depend on the Mac they go into as to whether it supports the higher bus speed.

we had 2 wd's die within 3 months...
i strongly recommend using seagate

I haven't had any problems with the 1200JB. It is a fast drive.

I haven't had any problems with the 1200JB. It is a fast drive.
