Can the Samsung 171P in portrait mode work on a Mac?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way for the the Samsung 171P to work on the Mac with the display tilted 90 degrees into portrait mode. On the peecee it will run at 1024x1280 (the reverse of 1280x1024) but is there any way to do that on a Mac? If not then it is probably not worth it buy it because the extra price for that feature isn't worth it.

    Unless it comes with drivers specifically for the Mac to support the tilting, afraid not. Long time ago, the Radius monitor supported this. Check out ViewSonic, as I think they have a similar product.
