Wall Outlets

Anyone knows if the Japanese use the same wall outlet configuration as we do in the U.S.?

    For future refrence you could refer to one as an Edison I believe.

    they use the same wall outlets and the current is close enough that pretty much every adapter for your electronics will work without modifications there. i took my powerbook and my iPod to Japan and both worked fine with no additoinal adapters.
