I think the fact that the press release calls these things Spring iMacs says it all...



I believe the 970 will come out this summer as the new PowerMac. The new batch of "Summer iMacs" will use the G4 processors that are in todays PowerMac towers, and they will all get the bells and whistles... FireWire 800, Airport Extreme, Bluetooth...



The most logical thing I can think of.
