GOOD NEWS: Astonishingly well designed and well built. Powerful, easy-to-use admin software. Fast.
BAD NEWS: Doesn't come with a free set of Ginsu knives. That's about it. Really.

But, I've been producing in DV resolution at online quality for so long that I would really rather import the HD footage natively, cut it, photoshop it, composit and layer it, color correct it and master it all on my Mac (I'm cheaper than a technician at $350/hr).
Will the xRAID do the job?
Are you using a Kona or Pinnacle sys Hd card?

The Xraid will definately work for you but, you should check out the page where they talk about throughput and what it will handle.

I'm still doing my research. I'm leaning toward the Kona card with an Xraid solution. So far, it looks like the Xraid will be more than adequate for my needs.
