Photoshop Elements question

I have Photoshop Elements and whenever I use the file browser it seems so slow when I'm scrolling through my photos...I have a Ti G4 1GHz with 1GB of RAM...Whussuup with this???

    I find file browsing very slow. It needs a major speed boost. It may be worse on a laptop since your hard drive is slower. (In RPM's) If you access a folder frequently, you can export the thumbnails to a file so it doesn't have to load every time.

    how do you put several pictures together on one page? like a collage?

    Nofeer, look in the on-line help and tutorials. Thay call them picture packages not collages. Hope this helps a bit.

    Here's a more detailed description of what Photoshop Elements does weird:



    When I'm looking through images in the File Browser The windows goes black when i try to scroll down to the bottom of the list. This is in the detail view. Refreshing the screen does not work.



    Any thoughts? Is this a bug in the app??



    Does Photoshop 7 have this problem??
