Two CPU Upgrades?

If I purchased two 800Mhz PCI CPU upgrade cards, and put them side by side in the pci slots of my powermac. How will the computer take them. Will they be used/shown as dual processors?

Who makes these PCI cards? The only updates I have seen are ones that replace the microprocessor(s). And those are the types where you do not have to worry about drivers to have the computer recognize something in a bus slot.

ah, my bad. I was looking at macsales.com and say Sonnet for PCI mac's. I though that they went in the PCI slot. I see they go in the processor slot. sorry bout that.

I would think a CPU upgrade sitting in a PCI slot would be almost unusable from a severe lack of bandwidth anyhow

As amply demonstrated by the 7200 upgrade!

Despite some lokal memory that hodge podge of a CPU fares way worse than the upgrades of the 7500 and the like. Even in those the G3 start to have trouble with the slow bus at the very highest speeds..
