I keep losing my connection

For some reason I keep losing my DSL connection. Every hour or so it just stops for some reason. I have to reset the modem.



This started about the same time I added Airport. It's an Efficent(yeah, right) Networks 5360. My ISP is PacBell.

    I'm gonna guess the problem is with your Airport set-up.



    Run Airport Admin Utility .... select "Configure" for your base-station.



    Go to the "Network" tab...

    Look for "DHCP Lease" and set that to a higher time.



    mine defaulted to 3 hours and it took me several days to figure out why I had to keep re-setting my modem or Airport every three hours 'cause the network connection was dead. I changed it to 24 hours ('cause I turn stuff off at night) and have never had a problem since.

    It's not working. I set it to 24 hours like you said.
