CONFIRMED: no new PowerBooks @ Paris Expo
www.macosrumors.com now reports that we should expect the new PowerBooks at the Apple Expo in Paris. MOSR has a near 100% record of getting things wrong, so from this we can deduct that if new PowerBooks come out, it won't be in Paris.
On the bright side, this means that it MIGHT be possible for the new PowerBooks to come out next week.

Comments
It's all part of their plan to make people buy 17" PowerBooks, the most expensive, because they don't want the 12" PowerBooks, the smallest. Of course, those who get the 12" will trade it in for a 15" PowerBook when the time comes, so they will reap MORE MONEY FROM YOUR POCKETS!

Hey! Apple is using reverse psychology on us. Are they allowed to do that?

Since you can only use reverse psychology with a predictable result on normal people the users of this sub forum would not have a case against Apple

Maybe the 12" and 17" will have "minor speed bumps", but if you think that's all that is in store for the 15"...

Being kept for an expo suggests something more than a minor speed bump.
On the other hand, it is a foreign expo. So it could probably be a little more than minor (eg, a 1 to 1.25 GHz speed bump) but less than major (a new form factor that lets the screen twist round to form a tablet).
Also, one of the most popular PowerBooks - the Pismo - was introduced at the Tokyo expo. It was a little more than minor because it introduced FireWire and weight reduction to the portable line, but it wasn't major because they kept the Titanium for a future US expo.
I'd expect something similar in Paris.
