Hi all, i've got today my new LaCie DVD±R 4X. But i have a problem, if i try to burn DVD-R at 4X it give me always an error about buffer underrun, any idea ? i used apple and lacie certified dvd-r 4X.
Congrats on the new burner. Would you mind sharing how you are burning the DVD's(iTunes, iDVD, ect)? Was Toast Lite included with your burner? If it was have tried using that? It should give you a option for Buffer Underrun protection when you burn a disk(at least it does for cd-r). What about trying to burn at a slower speed. Does 2X eliminate the error? Sucks to make expensive coasters.
I don't have a DVD burner, just tossing some stuff out there. Getting the ball rolling, and good luck.
[edited to add: How is the drive connected to your computer, Firewire or USB? I remember hearing about this problem with USB drives. Something about not getting Data fast enough with USB. Please correct me if I am wrong.]

Thanx for your reply lemon.
At 2X the problem seems to be solved.
