Hmm. I wonder if 'XServe RAID for Video' implies a new hardware offering. Maybe a mini-XServe...4-5 modules high in a vertical footprint...FC or dual-channel FW800...a sleek little aluminum enclosure to match the G5...

...or maybe it's just a video event pushing XServe RAIDs for Video.

On second glance, it's just the way the info is layed out that makes it look like a G5 XServe.

    On 3 seperate lines:

    Introducing the new G5

Xserve and Xserve Raid for Video

    Introducing Finalcut Pro 4

    ...false alarm.

"Xserve RAID for Video" is still kind of intriguing. What does "for Video" imply? A desktop enclosure? FW800 port(s)?

It means nothing. It means that they are going to be presenting how to utilize a xServe from the perspecive of a video production facility.
