Leave my Documents folder alone!!!
One question. How do I get rid of the Microsoft User Data folder in my Documents folder? I never could understand why Microsoft, and certain inane Mac developers, opt to put user preference files inside my Documents folder instead of ~/Library -- where it belongs. Isn't the whole point of ~/Documents for keeping my own stuff? I get really annoyed of having stuff that I don't care about (e.g. Microsh*t User Data) intermingled with the stuff I care about. There should be some thing in the Mac OS X developers guideline that tells developers who put stuff in ~/Documents to go to hell.
... ok, I'm really not that pissed.

So what I did was just create another documents folder in ~/Documents called " Documents" and it would appear first on the list for fast column view translation.
Other culprits are: Adobe Reader, AppleWorks (!), iChat (??), Mulberry, Palm, Virtual PC (though this would fall under MS now)
