Invisible threads

Since updating to Java 1.4.1 all the titles of threads in the left hand column are not visible !! And not accessible bt clicking. Java bug, or does AI have to update something ?

    Norton's Internet Security was the culprit. Uninstalled it and now everything works. Hope this helps someone else.

    In fact, the extension npc.kext was the precise culprit. Deleting it solves the problem, and does not seem to alter the functionality of anything else other than Norton's Privacy Control.
