Scanning two photos at once...

Is there a way using image capture (10.2) to scan two photos on the same swipe? "Epson Twain 5" when set to full automatic mode will recognize that there are two photos on the glass but will only scan the first. A waring also appears saying that "some applications will only allow you to scan one photo at a time", is image capture one of these applications?

I use GraphicConverter to scan images (I have an Epson 2400 Photo with Twain 5). I scanned up to 4 slides in one session.

In GCs Plugin-Settings you can define how to handle multi page documents. The default was: Scan in one file. At first I had this setting and wondered what happened to my other pictures. Then I saw that the current picture had several parts (like animated gifs). After unchecking this setting, the program just opens my pics in several windows as intended.

I also have a Epson 2400, and I can also scan many 4X6 photos at once but I only got it to work in Epson's own photo software. I just saved the files and opened them with photoshop.
