Inconsistent Color on Powerbook Display
Howdy,
I noticed (to my horror, as I am a graphic designer) while working on a newsletter the other day that the color consistency of my 17" PBook varies from top to bottom. The screen seems to gradually display lighter & more faded towards the bottom, enough so that I thought I was using 2 different spot colors (I was not).
Is this a defect, or a common problem with laptops - Apple or otherwise? This is my first laptop of any sort, and I didn't even think about the issue when I bough the PBook because the 17" Apple display that I worked with at my last job was perfectly consistent throughout.
If this is a common issue, is it a viewing angle problem that something like the iCurve stand can alleviate, or do I need to buy an external monitor?
Thanks.
