Painfully SLOW Airport Extreme connection
I need some help (AGAIN!)...
I have 4 devices connected to my wireless LAN, which is built on a Linksys 802.11b wireless router...
3 out of 4 devices work splendidly and have for over a year, while the newest (a Powerbook G4 12" with Airport Extreme card) is painfully slow...Often pages won't load at all because of my connection.
The signal indicator is full, and I have had good experience on other Wi-Fi networks. Any idea why this device is creating problems? It even caused (or seemed to) a wired client to lose its connection (until reboot).
Is there a way to force the card to communicate as an 802.11b card? My regular airport card in my PB G3 works great, while this Airport extreme card gets worse reception at the fringes of my property and SLOW connections even when sitting right next to the router...
Anyone have experience with Linksys Wireless Routers? is there something therein that I need to change, adjust etc.?

Some additional web searches on my part seem to have revealed that there is an issue with my versoin of 802.11b Linksys router and Airport extreme cards...Until Apple releases a patch, or I buy a new router, I may be out of luck.
