When will Powerbooks see the G5?

PC notebooks use high-end P4's, so why can't Powerbooks have G5's in them, even if they're at a slower speed? If I decide to buy a Powerbook, I would want it to have a G5 in it.

I'm just running interference here a bit before a pissy mod arrives (so bear in mind I'm honestly not trying to be a dick), but I count no less than 5 active PowerBook (G5 and/or rumors-based) on the front page of this section.

Your question would/will dovetail in nicely to one of those and keep some redundant thread clutter down a bit, especially as we near the Paris Expo this coming week.

Hey, I'm just saying... (chances are, you're gonna hear this echoed from on high by a mod any minute now...)

In any case, welcome to AppleInsider!

Just trying to save the fella from a tongue-lashing by an exasperated, hacked-off mod.

7457 was supposed to be months ago and so was G5 so why you think G5 laptops are coming beats me...read the gazillion other boards on this topic.....

Welcome to AppleInsider. Please check to see if there are already active threads on the topic you're interested in before starting a new one. Thanks.

I'm going to lock this one, since there is no shortage of PowerBook threads right now.
