Check out the pictures. A cashier at Food Lion actually took it. Notice the signs on the White House Lawn in the pciture (back).

    Yeah!!! Proof why being No. 1 in roads and No. 48 in education is a good thing.

    Interesting that the charge was "Obtaining Property by False Pretenses" and not counterfeiting. There are plenty of situations that I can think of where folks obtain property that way...

    I'm not a lawyer or anything, but I wouldn't think that it would be counterfeiting because it wasn't an attempt to duplicate a US bill. My guess was that the guy was joking, and when the cashier actually took it, he just went for it.



    On a side note, when I worked for a Harris Teeter in Charlotte, a guy once tried to give me a $3 bill with Bill Clinton's face on it.



    And no, I didn't take it.
