iPod wierdness (simple Q)

What is my iPod doing?



Can't find anythign in the books.



Is this an indexing thing, scannig for errors, or what?

    That happened to me once! I just held down the Menu and Play buttons until it turned off, then I reconnected it and it hasn't done that since. I don't know what the deal with that is.

    Creepy. My iPods have never done that.... Is this while docked?

    It happened the last 2 times I plugged it into my laptop. (Immediately after I plugged it into a G5. Hmmm... \ )



    There is another screen after where the magnifying glass on the upper-right of the drive turns into a checkbox with a check on the left. It was a happy icon so I don't think the iPod will self-destruct.8)



    Still don't know what it was doing...\
